This is our second set of blinds ordered from this company. The first order was for a set of White Standard aluminum cordless blinds for a clear-glass bathroom window in our newly remodeled master bathroom walk-in shower. We originally had planned to replace the huge window (45" x 64") with obscure glass until the cost of glass skyrocketed due to the pandemic and manufacturing delays grew to 6+ months for delivery.As we looked for other options we happened across LazBlinds after hours of reading reviews on the dozens and dozens of competing products you can find on Amazon. We really hadn't considered putting in mini-blinds as a window covering but thought it would be a better option than some sort of decorative window film (because they all seemed to allow visibility into the shower at night and when wet). We eliminated all of the options that required drilling for the mounting because we didn't want to drill into the quartz slab used to line the window box. We also weren't thrilled about having a pull-string that seemed like it was just going to get gross over time. That's when we found LazBlinds cordless pulldown options.Ordering the first set of blinds was as easy as selecting a color, type of slat, and size needed for the Aluminum Horizontal cordless mini-blinds product. We followed all of their measuring instructions provided in the pictures on the product page and ordered. The product was shipped the next day and was received within the week as promised. The instructions were straightforward and easy to understand. When they said no tools were needed I was skeptical and also frankly doubted that a no-drill solution would actually work. We were beyond impressed with the results. The installation took less than 10 minutes and their tensioning design holds the blinds in place with impressive strength.That was February 2022. In August, we decided we wanted to try the same solution for an awkwardly sized window in our second full bathroom shower. Nothing standard sized was going to fit our 46"W x 22"H window so found that LazBlinds also had a custom size solution. The measuring instructions again were very clear and helpful but the ordering form said to specify left-side cord or right-side cord with no option of "cordless" (like our other blinds). So we took a chance and wrote in the special instructions that we wanted the aluminum mini-blinds to be cordless and hoped for the best.We ordered the "LazBlinds Custom to Size No Tools-No Drill 1" Aluminum Horizontal Mini Blinds Shades" on August 1st and knew that we were going to have to wait for them to be manufactured and that takes time. At one point we became a little concerned about the delivery and messaged the seller. They promptly replied back and were easy to communicate with. We received the order this past week after an almost five-week wait. It was well worth the wait. The installation was again effortless and best of all THEY WERE CORDLESS! They are an exact fit and look beautiful.My only complaint, which is really more of a comment than a complaint, is that the slat adjusting rod was too long for the custom window application (22" window height) and hung past the window opening causing it to stick out and look strange. But it was an easy fix. I just shortened it using my miter saw after first wrapping the cut area in tape to prevent chip-out or splitting and after a quick cut, it looks like it came that way in the first place!Again, it's a shame you can't give 6 Stars in a review because they certainly deserve it. My experience with LazBlinds was a delight and a refreshing change from the laissez-faire attitude that most companies seem to have fallen into when it comes to service and quality.
